El 6th International Underwater Film Festival en Belgrado (Yugoslavia),
va a celebrarse este año del 6 al 9 de Diciembre.
De nuevo el pricipal organizador de este evento es el Club de
Bucueo "Belgrade", y los co-organizadores son Belgrade
Youth Center, the French Cultural Center and Yugoslav Film Archives.
El Festival se celebra bajo el patrocinio de Belgrade City Assembly,
con el generoso apoyo del Ministry of culture, Ministry of education
and sports, Municipality of Stari Grad y algunas misiones diplomáticas
en Belgrado.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Subacuático en Belgrado es una oportunidad única de echar una mirada al mundo subacuático para encontrar más sobre él a través de films, foto, encuentros con autores y otras aventuras submarinas y aficionados.
Nuestro "6th dive" va a ser el mejor. Vamos a tener
más films, más fotos, más proyecciones, más
invitados, más de todo. El programa del Festival va a desarrollarse
en tres salas de cine, tres galerías, Internet café
y Jazz Club.
Por primera vez presentaremos "The
National underwater Day", y este año, este
día va a dedicarse a Francia. Va a estar dedicado a la
producción submarina francesa y nuestro invitados franceses
y con optimismo, vamos a ser capaces de mostrarles una o dos sorprendentes
films, acompañados de un sorprendente invitado, un famoso
enamorado del mar.
Como es habitual el programa del Festival incluye competición de films y revistas de cine, competición y exhibición de fotografía, exposición de pinturta de niños, concurso de cartel para estudiantes de arte, lecturas, presentaciones y muchos más eventos. También, como cada año, los ingresos van a donarse al albergue de niños sin cuidado paterno "Drinka Pavlovic".
Toda la información sobre la inscripción y las
competiciones puede encontarrse en
www.kpa.co.yu. Las
películas en competición deben ser producción
del año 2001 o 2002, con un 30% de planos submarinos y
los formatos son BETA SP, DV Cam o MiniDV. El límite de
inscripción es el 1 de noviembre. Para la parte de revisats
van a aceptarse antiguas producciones

Ya tenemos confirmada la asistencia de los ganadores de pasadas

It is our pleasure to inform You that the 6th International Underwater
Film Festival in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, will be held this year
in December, from 6th to 9th.
Again, the main organizer of this event is Diving Club "Belgrade",
co-organizers are Belgrade Youth Center, the French Cultural Center
and Yugoslav Film Archives. Festival is held under patronage of
Belgrade City Assembly, with generous support from the Ministry
of culture, Ministry of education and sports, Municipality of
Stari Grad and several diplomatic missions in Belgrade.
The International Underwater Film Festival in Belgrade is a unique
opportunity to peek into the underwater world, to find out more
about it through films, photos, meetings with authors and other
underwater adventurers and enthusiasts.
Our "6th dive" will be the best yet. We'll have more
films, more photos, more projections, more guests, more of everything.
The Festival program will run in three cinemas, three galleries,
Internet Cafe and Jazz Club.
For the first time, we'll introduce "The
National Underwater Day" and for this year, that
day will belong to France. This day will be dedicated to French
underwater production and our guests from France and hopefully,
we'll be able to show one or two surprise films, accompanied with
surprise guest, a very famous sea-lover.
As usual, the Festival program consists of film contest and film
revue, underwater photography contest and exhibition, children
drawings exhibition, art students' poster contest and exhibition,
lectures, presentations and many other events. Also, like every
year, income will be donated to the Shelter for children without
parental care "Drinka Pavlovic".

for the contest would have to be 2001 or 2002 production, with
30% underwater shots and formats are BETA SP, DV Cam or MiniDV.
Deadline is 1st November. For the revue part, we'll accept older
productions.
AWARDS
The International Underwater Film Festival in Belgrade will give
the following awards: Grand Prix, Best Film Award (first, second
and third place), Best Yugoslav Film Award, Audience Film Award,
Best Photography Award and some special awards. We already have
some confirmations that all last years' winners will be personally
present at the 6th Festival, along with many other guests from
all around the world.
